Our facility is checked against globally recognized standards for how workers are treated, how the workplace is kept safe, and how production affects the environment. Here is exactly what we hold and what each one covers.
The Standards We Hold
WRAP Certified
Our facility is certified by WRAP, the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production program, the largest independent certification for sewn products. It is earned through a third-party audit against twelve principles covering labor, health and safety, the environment, and customs and security compliance. WRAP is accepted by Walmart, Disney, Costco, Gildan, and Fruit of the Loom, and it satisfies US retail supply chain security requirements without a separate audit.
Sedex Member, SMETA Audited
We are a member of Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, and our facility is audited under the SMETA methodology across four pillars: labor, health and safety, environment, and business ethics. This is the audit framework enterprise buyers reference in their vendor questionnaires and RFPs.
Building and Fire Safety
Our facility undergoes independent inspection for structural, fire, and electrical safety in line with the international building safety accord. Worker safety is verified, not assumed.
Local Labor Law Compliance
We maintain full compliance with local labor law, including federal pension, provincial healthcare and injury coverage, and all applicable labor regulations. These protections are verified by our WRAP and SMETA auditors as part of certification.
Certificates Available on Request
Full certificates and audit reports are available on request for any RFP, vendor questionnaire, or procurement review. If you need documentation for a specific program or end buyer, contact your Branded Originals rep and we will provide it.
